If You Want To Lose Weight And Build Muscle Eat More Protein!

Because when it comes to fueling your treadmill workouts and weight loss programs, nothing beats protein  

You see , the optimal kind of fat loss diet plan is that it must contains moderate amounts of fats, moderate amounts of carbohydrates and large amounts of protein.  

Why protein? 

You see, protein helps to build and repair muscle, and it also aids in increasing your metabolism and enhancing your immune system. This simple macronutrient is very powerful when it comes to lose body fat!

The best ball figure you need to use is 1 gram per pound of body weight in pounds!  

To promote maximum muscle growth and repair, you should try to eat at least 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Some good sources of protein are lean meats and egg whites, if cooking is a pain then you can use whey protein and soy protein isolate-they contain zero fat and they work to preserve your hard earned muscle mass! 

How much protein should be in your diet? 

For most people, I recommend starting with a diet that is around 40% protein. 60% carbs 

That might protein might scare you! But truth is if you workout like a bodybuilder-which you must do if you went to lose fat! You need way more protein than a normal Joe

Since everyone is different (size, weight, metabolism, physical stresses, lifestyle, etc.) it is almost impossible to have a standard number. But the 1 gram per pound of bodyweight is a good guideline! 

It is very true that taking large amounts of protein can put a strain on your kidneys. Ammonia and urea (waste produced by protein assimilation) are removed from the bloodstream by the kidneys and liver and excreted in the urine. When you have a lot of these waste products in your system, your kidneys will have to work harder to keep your system clean. But fact is, there is no study that actually conforms this! 

And bodybuilders have been doing this for years without ill effects! I myself have used it for 15 years without ill effects!

The one secret used by bodybuilder is the right nutrition! 

 

All bodybuilders know that the first key to gaining muscle and losing fat is eating correctly.  

 

But what do I mean when I say eat correctly? 

 

Eating correctly for weight loss purposes, does not mean eat less food, or never eat any junk food! It does mean consume the correct amount of calories, and the right amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates taken at the correct times and most of the time! 

 

When I started this principle at first, I was just too lazy! I would just skip over this weight loss secret part. I mean it just seemed too difficult to understand.

 

But fact is I made it difficult! Because I took things too seriously and by taking things too seriously I found it very difficult! I tried to diet when I did not have too…until I learned how bodybuilders do it! Once I learned the right way I was easy and a smooth ride!

 

Eating the right way for weight loss is actually fun! When you eat that way, not only will you eat more, you will eat more often! It will shock you and also you will see results in the first week! And you know what they say success begets more success!  

Once you see the changes your life changes and you want to do more of the right tings to succeed! 

 

Understand that your weight loss diet is the single most important element of a successful fat loss program. It should be geared to maximize fat loss, while minimizing any muscle loss. Here are a few key points to remember:

Eat More Often:

 

To lose fat you have to eat! I know this sounds like a paradox but it really is not! 

 

The key is this: DO NOT starve yourself. Why? Your body was/ is designed for survival; this is part of your body’s survival mechanism which involves the storing and holding of its own body fat- just in case you are in a famine -which is to be used in times of food shortages.  

 

If you don’t eat –the body will store the little food you eat as body fat! 

 

And If you make it a habit of not eating, or eating only a small amount of calories each day, eventually your body will think that you are starving and that you are in the middle of a famine and it will automatically begin to slow down your metabolism. And worse yet, it will begin to eat up your hard earned muscle! The end results is that you will get flabbier and fatter! 


The body does this because it is just trying to conserve energy (calories) with the very little nourishment you give it!

 

Your metabolism determines the rate at which your body burns calories, so if you have a fast metabolism, you will burn a lot of calories without much effort. If you have a slow metabolism, it will be very difficult to burn calories — especially fat calories. Your body will always slow your metabolism in response to low calorie dieting. 

 

The solution is rather simple- all you have to do is eat more of the right foods! The more you eat the more the body will drop its starvation mode defense and allow you to get rid of those stubborn pounds! 

 

This is the reason why when you diet; you may lose weight but then your right loss stops and never goes down further! The way to break out if that is to eat more and use other secrets methods to boost your metabolism! 

 

The key is also you eat more than 3 meals a day!

 

Why? Well eating three meals per day will not cut it! It does not provide your body with the constant flow of nutrients and energy it needs increase your metabolism and burn fat. Ideally, you should strive to eat 5-6 meals evenly spaced throughout the day.

 

 

Here is an example of a good weight loss and fat loss diet schedule: Time

 8 am    Whey protein powder, vitamin C (1,000mg)

9 am    Workout

10:30 am         Meal 1 [egg white omelets] with Glutamine, and vitamin C

1:30 pm           Meal 3 [5oz chicken breast, 1 cup of brown rice, small salad]

4:30 pm           Meal 4 [snack]

7:30 pm           Meal 5 [6oz of tuna, 1 cup of vegetables]

10:30 pm         Whey protein powder, vitamin C and Glutamine

 

It is that simple! If you eat like this, the fat will slide off effortlessly!
