Increasing the incline to 4-5
Increasing the speed to 7-8 miles per hour
Increasing the time spent on the treadmill

So it will take 1about one hour to burn a bit over 1000 calories using the treadmill at a speed of 5-8mph.

Next when it comes to losing weight on the treadmill is to reduce the amount of calories consumed, for instance if you reduce calories by 500 calories less than what you need to neither lose Wight or gain weight
The average woman needed 1500-1800 calories a day to neither lose weight or gain weight and the average man needs about 2400 calories, so reduce that amount by 500 calories, this will put you in a calorie deficit which when combined with the treadmill weight loss workouts will help you in losing the maximum amount of weight possible
